Plenty of shops weld steel. Far fewer will take aluminum or stainless, and that is the reason people end up driving around with a broken part in the back of the truck. Aluminum is unforgiving: it conducts heat away fast, it does not change colour before it melts, and the oxide layer melts far hotter than the metal underneath, so it goes from looking fine to falling through in a moment. Stainless moves and warps as it heats, and it has to be kept clean or the corrosion resistance you paid for is gone. Both reward patience, heat control and a steady hand more than raw power. If the part fits in a truck, it can come to the shop.
